PRINCETON, Ky. (11/20/19) — Kentucky State Police Post 2 investigated a fatal crash early this morning at mile-marker 56 off eastbound lanes of I-24 in Caldwell County.
Preliminary investigation reveals Jaryonlee Wells, 24 of Omaha, Nebraska, was driving a 2007 Chevy Cobalt, when the vehicle abruptly left the western part of the road and crashed into trees.
A passenger identified as Heidi Renter, 22 of Omaha, Nebraska, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Caldwell County Coroner’s Office, KSP reported.
Wells and another passenger listed as 1-year-old Elyonha Wells, were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment. They were listed in stable condition this morning.
Trooper Daniel Holland is still investigation the collision.
