chiliBEECH GROVE, Ky. (1/1/18) — There will be a Chili Cook Off and Cake Competition fundraiser to benefit Anthony Gish and family Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department.

Gish was injured in a mining accident last month and is doing rehab in Louisville. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to help his family with expenses.

A donation at the door provides for samplings of several varieties of chili and cakes — all you can eat. The event begins at 3 p.m. and there will be a best chili and best cake award given at 6 p.m. Anyone wanting to enter the competition can post it on chocolate cakethe event Facebook page or call Megan Woosley at 270-499-2806.
