28660569 1782890808686386 3244677838219618803 n copyLIVERMORE, Ky. (3/7/18) — Authorities charged two people late last night in Livermore during a PNTF drug bust.

Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force detectives said McLean County Sheriff’s Office assisted them as they intercepted an Owensboro man delivering methamphetamine to a Livermore residence.

PNTF charged Gary W. Mayfield Jr., 34 of Owensboro with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/meth more than 2 grams, trafficking in marijuana, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess. Authorities said Mayfield was in possession of approximately 40 grams of meth, digital scales, marijuana and a small handgun. Mayfield also was wanted on an active arrest warrant.

Police also charged Wynter N. Daugherty, 26 of Owensboro with drug paraphernalia – buy/possess. Police said Daugherty was a backseat passenger in Mayfield’s vehicle and had a syringe in her purse. She also had an active arrest warrant.

Both were taken to the Daviess County Detention Center, where Mayfield is being held on a total of $45,000 full cash bonds. Daugherty is being held on a $384 in full cash bond.

Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.
