mclean recoveryMcLEAN COUNTY, Ky. (9/17/19) — McLean County Judge-Executive Ed West recently signed a proclamation declaring September as Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. He was presented a certificate of appreciation by RU Recovery Director Darren Revlett.

“What a great day in our county for recovery awareness,” said Revlett. “Judge West has been a friend of faith-based recovery for some time and draws back on his previous experience in law enforcement to see what a benefit it can be for any community.”

West and Revlett were also joined by Richland Baptist Church Pastor Jonathan Turner.

Anyone struggling with addiction of a family member of someone who is may attend free meetings at 7 p.m. Fridays at 6880 Richland Road, Livermore.

“RU Recovery Program is a free recovery program,” said Revlett. “So, you have nothing to lose but your addiction.”

A copy of the proclamation is shown below. Above, Revlett and West are shown.
