Muhlenberg County Lady Mustangs HoopsGREENVILLE, Ky. (1/15/20) — Destin Armour scored a game-high 28 points to lead Muhlenberg County over visiting McLean County 50-48 in a 10th District girls' basketball game on Tuesday night.

With the win, Muhlenberg County improved to 13-5 overall and 2-0 in the 10th District.

McLean County dropped to 8-7 overall and 1-2 in the district with the loss.

Helping to lift Muhlenberg County to the victory, Elisabeth Joines netted 11 points and Sara-Cate Boggess posted 10 points.

Muhlenberg County carried a lead out of each quarter. The Lady Mustangs led 29-22 at halftime.

Hailee Johnson paced McLean County with 13 points. Johnson was the only McLean County player to reach double figures in the scoring column. Leading the Lady Cougars inside, Makena Rush-Owen pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds. Rush-Owen, Bailie Walker and Kamryn McMahon contributed eight points apiece for McLean County in the setback.
