arrest handcuffs nowords 300CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (1/2/17) — Two people have been charged in connection with the burglary of an East Everly Brothers, Central City business in June.

An ongoing investigation by Central City Police Department resulted in arrest warrants being issued for two Hopkinsville residents. Video surveillance evidence from Liquor Stop cameras assisted CCPD Officer Jamie Jenkins's investigation. Police said the burglar forced his way into the front door and left with cartons of cigarettes and a large amount of cash.

Warrants charged Joe Guevara of Hopkinsville Dec. 21 with third-degree burglary and Erin Tompkins of Hopkinsville Dec. 20 with third-degree complicity to burglary. Warrants were issued through the Muhlenberg County Attorney’s office and served by the Hopkinsville Police Department.
