amber and kinimonthCENTRAL CITY, Ky. (1/10/18) — Central City Police busted an alleged meth trafficking operation at a local motel Monday.

The CCPD K-9 officer stopped a vehicle driven by Milton D. Kinimonth, 38 of Fordsville in the Big O Stop parking lot. Kinimonth was charged with driving under the influence with aggravating circumstances and possession of marijuana. Further investigation led police to a room at the Central Motel, where officers reported finding marijuana, crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Police charged a woman in the room, 38-year-old Amber Michelle Pike of Fordsville, and Kinimonth with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/meth – first offense, trafficking in marijuana – first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Muhlenberg Detention Center.

CCPD was assisted in the investigation by KSP DESI West and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force.
