fatal collision 2 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (4/13/18) — Muhlenberg County Deputy Sheriff Sgt. Will Ward responded to the report of a single-vehicle accident with injuries at approximately 7 p.m. Thursday night and found the driver had lost control of the vehicle, which flipped several times causing her to be ejected from the vehicle.

MCSO said Ward determined Kayleigh Moore, 22 of Central City was headed east on Kentucky 601 and lost control of a 2010 Chevrolet passenger vehicle. The vehicle left the left side of the highway and flipped several times. Moore was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.

Moore was transported by Muhlenberg County EMS to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Greenville Fire Department and Muhlenberg County Coroner’s Office also assisted.
