road closeCENTRAL CITY, Ky. (3/13/18) — A portion of Kentucky 277/West Reservoir Avenue has been closed due to a manhole failure. The closure is between Walnut Street at mile point 0.887 and Jefferson Street at mile point 0.965 in downtown Central City.

Central City Public Works will be attempting to repair the manhole through the weekend and is expected to finish by Monday. However, if the repairs are found to be extensive, the area may be closed through next week.

The city of Central City and Kentucky Transportation will attempt to provided notice when Kentucky 277 is reopened.

There is no marked detour.
