diviersicareGREENVILLE, Ky. (8/7/18) — Diversicare of Greenville recently donated $500 to LAUNCH, a program that helps Muhlenberg County elementary school students prepare for the new school year.

Diversicare of Greenville presented the check at a special LAUNCH: Back to School Event on Saturday, Aug. 4. The event, held at Second Baptist Church, which featured activities, haircuts, lunch and a shopping trip for school clothes.

The grant was made possible through Diversicare’s Neighborhood Impact Program, Helping Neighbors – Changing Lives. NIP is a community support initiative designed to give back to the communities we serve. Grant recipients are non-profit organizations or agencies that are selected based on financial need. Since NIP emphasizes caring and collaboration within the communities, Diversicare and community leaders often work together to determine which organizations would be the best stewards of these grants.
