school checkCENTRAL CITY, Ky. (10/5/18) — The Felix E. Martin Jr. Foundation presented Muhlenberg County Schools with a $298,000 ceremonial check during the Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce noon luncheon yesterday held at the Central City Convention Center.

The funds will be used to provide a hands-on manufacturing experience for students at the Muhlenberg County High School West Campus for juniors and seniors. Students completing the lab program will earn certification in the manufacturing field as well as earn 12 college credit hours from Madisonville Community College equating to about four college courses.
