Post 2 copyMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (2/16/19) — Three new troopers have joined the ranks of Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville.

Trooper Ridge Porter of Beechmont, Trooper Brett Martin of Belton and Trooper Trevor High of Tompkinsville were among 35 cadets completing a rigorous 25-week-training academy Feb. 1 in Frankfort.

The addition of this graduating class brings the agency’s strength to a total of 809 troopers serving the citizens of the Commonwealth.

Post 2’s new troopers will spend 12 weeks with a field training supervisor before working their assigned counties. Post 2 covers Hopkins, Muhlenberg, Christian, Caldwell, Webster, Todd and Crittenden counties.
