CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (3/21/19) — A local bank has repurposed 15 gently used computers that are now valuable learning tools for students in Muhlenberg County Schools.

Dean Rowe, First Kentucky Bank market executive of the Pennyrile Region, said Tuesday company representatives visited Central City Elementary School, where seven of those computers have been put to good use.

The surplus equipment, Hewlett-Packard All-in-One machines, were placed in the CCES art department and computer lab, bankers said.

“We are pleased to know that these computers are being put to great use in education of our kids throughout the Muhlenberg County School system,” Rowe said.
