vincent arrestDRAKESBORO, Ky. (3/22/19) — A Greenville man was charged with meth trafficking after leading authorities on a brief chase in the Drakesboro area.

Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force said Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Detective Troy Gibson, who is assigned to the PNTF, along with other MCSO officers and Kentucky State Police DESI West located 30-year-old Travis Vincent, who had multiple warrants for his arrest at 3:13 p.m. yesterday on John Pride Avenue.

When officers made contact with Vincent, he attempted to flee on foot, however, was quickly apprehended, said PNTF.

PNTF charged Vincent with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/meth and possession of drug paraphernalia after locating meth and paraphernalia inside the vehicle Vincent was driving. MCSO charged Vincent with fleeing and evading police as well as on several warrants.

Vincent is being held in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
