ccpd arrests shepherdCENTRAL CITY, Ky. (5/16/19) — The investigation into a late evening robbery led to an arrest warrant being issued for a Bremen man, who was taken into custody Tuesday.

Central City Police Department said an employee of Quality Quick Convenience Store on West Reservoir Avenue reported being robbed at 8:39 p.m. April 15. When CCPD Assistant Chief Jason Lindsey responded, the employee told him that a man had entered the store, demanded cash and left.

After his investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for 20-year-old Travis Shepherd, who was charged with first-degree robbery. The investigation is continuing.

Shepherd is being held in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
