sentenced gavelMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (6/24/19) — Five people have been sentenced on charges of engaging in organized crime/criminal syndicate and drug trafficking after a six-month-long investigation by multiple agencies. Three of the five are Muhlenberg residents.

Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Office spokesman Deputy Chris Flener said Kentucky State Police, KSP DESI, South Central Drug Task Force, Central City Police Department and Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force uncovered a meth train from Louisville to Muhlenberg and surrounding counties.

As a result of the investigation, several people were charged and large amounts of methamphetamine were recovered, said Flener.

Muhlenberg countians sentenced include Jennifer English, 32, received a 12-year sentence; Jessica Wood, 24, received a 10-year sentence; and, Antonio Lorusso, 43, received 20 years. Anton Morton, 37 of Louisville and Jaimie M. Vincent, 42 of Logan County each received 20-year sentences.
