Greenville police deptGREENVILLE, Ky. (11/29/19) — A man allegedly attempting to flee from a police chief found himself tangled up in the process.

Greenville Police Department got a call concerning a person that appeared to be suspicious near Catfish Dock 12:10 p.m. Monday in Powderly.

GPD Chief Darren Harvey found the alleged suspect, later identified as Morris Hocker, 48 of Central City, walking in the area.

After the chief approached Hocker, he ran into the woods and became tangled in a “dense area of brush,” GPD reported. Hocker was “quickly apprehended” and charged with second-degree fleeing police.
