Kidnapping invest 12 19MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (11/19/19) — Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office reported a man was found near a wooded area along U.S. 62-E in Nelson Creek recently.

The unidentified victim told deputies Saturday that he “had been taken at gunpoint by two male suspects, stripped of his clothing and personal items, then left in the wooded area,” MCSO Deputy Alex Piper wrote.

The following day, MCSO reported obtaining search warrants for residences, vehicles and cell phones. Evidence obtained resulted in the arrest of two suspects identified as 33-year-old Taylon Whitney of Hopkinsville and 24-year-old Tyler Noffsinger of Central City.

Whitney and Noffsinger were each charged with first-degree robbery, adult kidnapping, second-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment. They were listed as being held in Muhlenberg County Jail today, pending bond.

Deputy Jeremy Rose is investigating. Piper, Greenville and Central City police departments along with Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted.
