drug investigation 01 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (12/30/19) — A Christmas Day disturbance at a home off 181-N in Greenville led to two arrests.

Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Alex Piper, the agency’s spokesman, reported serving an outstanding warrant to 31-year-old Scott Brown at the home. In the process of taking him into custody, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and packaging materials.

MCSO also reported serving a warrant to search the residence, where marijuana was being grown.

Brown was charged with first-degree trafficking in meth-more than 2 grams, cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Another resident at the home, 40-year-old Christopher Shelton, was charged with cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Sgt. Shannon Albro, Lt. William Ward, Deputy Josh Beatty and Greenville Police Department assisted.
