WisonGREENVILLE, Ky. (2/11/20) — A Central City man accused of stalking a woman and following her to Central City Convention Center was tasered following a run-in with Greenville Police officers.

The suspect allegedly trailed the woman as she drove to Greenville today on the Kentucky 189 Bypass after leaving the gym. The accused stalker was apparently bold enough to park beside her vehicle at the Muhlenberg County Justice Center lot as she went to Greenville Police Department to alert authorities.

GPD Spokesman Officer Wes Miller reported as officers approached the man, identified as Tyrone Ray Wilson, 44, he became "beligerent" and “began shoving officers" as they attempted to cuff him.

Miller indicated officers used a Taser to take Wilson into custody. He was charged with first-degree stalking, resisting arrest, third-degree assault-police officer, second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing.

Greenville Fire Department also assisted.
