Vick Summer Nycole 10 28 2017GREENVILLE, KY., — Summer Nycole Vick, 21, Formerly of Greenville passed away October 28, 2017 at age 21. Her young life was full of many dreams, as well as many accomplishments. Born November 26, 1995 she was a graduate of Grovetown High School in Grovetown, Georgia and was scheduled to graduate in May 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. She was employed by Bryton Entertainment as marketing director and by Lidl European Grocery as store manager. When not working or studying, Summer enjoyed playing video games, cooking, and experimenting with new recipes, she was even a published author of the short novel, ‘Red.’  Summer was engaged to Matthew William Yassney her best friend and the true love of her life.  She would always light up when speaking of him or simply by being in his presence.  She and Matt enjoyed the outdoors and often could be found camping and exploring in the mountains of north Georgia. Her main focus in life was to marry Matt and to obtain her degree.  She loved being a big sister to Autumn, whom she would protect like a mom. Summer had a heart of gold and touched many lives in her short time on earth.

She was preceded in death by her great grandfather William Rufus Stanley, grandfather William Thomas Stanley and grandparents Edna Jean and Doran Wayne Vick.

Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 am from Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY by Reverend John Culbertson. Visitation will be held on Saturday after 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am.

Survivors include her fiancé Matthew William Yassney of Augusta, Georgia, her father Wayne Edward Vick of Greenville, her mother Robin Denise Brackner of Georgia, great grandmother Barbara Jean Stanley of Greenville, grandmother Jewel Stanley Davis of Greenville, grandparents Carolyn and Jesse Hayes of Greenville, 2 Aunts Linda Diane (Jimmy) Foster of Greenville, Stephanie (Jerry) Amos of  Greenville, 2 sisters Autumn Paige Vick of Greenville, Addison Adne-Jean Vick of South Carolina, 1 brother Iziah Ka’Wika Rodrigeues of South Carolina, several great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
