Flag and dog tagsvet ffffffGREENVILLE, KY., — Rufus Lee Moore, 82, of Greenville passed away Thursday morning February 8, 2018 at 11:12am in the Owensboro Muhlenberg Community Hospital Greenville after a short illness. Rufus was born September 11, 1935 in Greenville, the son of Freddie Lee Moore and Flora Crick Moore. He was of the Baptist Faith and was an Air Force veteran serving from 1952 to 1956 as a mechanic. Rufus retired in 1990 from Whirlpool in Evansville, IN after 34 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 56 years Glennis Joyce Willis Moore on May 17, 2014, and 2 sisters Louise Underwood and Nona Ford.

He is survived by 1 son Rick (Shannon) Moore of Beech Creek, KY, 1 daughter Angie (Brad) Todd of Greenville, KY, 5 grandchildren Kaci (Dathan) Stovall, Bradford Layne Todd II, Chelsea Moore, Amber Joy Todd, Eric Lee Moore, 3 great-grandchildren, Kennedy Stovall, Avery Stovall, Audrie Moore, 1 sister Betty Adams of Greenville, KY

Graveside services were conducted Saturday afternoon February 10, 2018 at 2pm at Carter Creek Cemetery by Rev. Danny Mooneyhan
