leach arrestBEAVER DAM, Ky. (11/20/17) — A Hartford man was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine after Kentucky State Police stopped him for speeding on the Western Kentucky Parkway.

KSP said a Post 16 trooper stopped a vehicle headed east on the WKP and charged the driver, 38-year-old Scott W. Leach Jr. with speeding 26 MPH or more above the speed limit, reckless driving, resisting arrest, first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth – second offense, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/meth – second or greater offense, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc. - with aggravated circumstances – first offense.

Leach is being held in the Ohio County Detention Center. No bond has been set.
