arrested handcuffs blue 300HARTFORD, Ky. (12/11/17) — Two women have been charged with attempting to bring illegal drugs into the Ohio County Community Center.

Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said at 8:50 a.m. Dec. 7, detectives intercepted a Louisville woman that was allegedly meeting an inmate at the center. Police said detectives received information that the woman was going to transport the drugs to an inmate that was supposed to be at OCCC that morning.

The inmate’s court date was changed and OCSO deputies made contact with Natasha Moorman, 30. A search of her vehicle revealed a plastic baggie containing synthetic marijuana. Moorman was charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance.

At approximately 11:30 that morning, police said another woman attempted to enter a secure area of the center that was being monitored by OCSO. Deputies reported finding two capsules of crystal methamphetamine in her purse.

OCSO charged Penny Snyder, 56 of Fordsville with first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth. She is being held in the Ohio County Detention Center.
