carmen arrestHARTFORD, Ky. (1/3/17) — A Kentucky State Police traffic stop on a vehicle last night on the William Natcher Parkway resulted in a 42-year-old man charged with possession of meth and marijuana and DUI.

KSP reported a trooper stopped a vehicle headed south on the parkway at 7:54 p.m. An investigation revealed the operator, Jody A. Carman of Elizabethtown, was driving under the influence and had possession of drugs.

KSP charged Carman with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc – second offense, careless driving, failure to wear seat belts, failure to produce insurance card, first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth – first offense and possession of marijuana.

Carmen is being held in the Ohio County Detention Center. Bond has not been set.
