Monday, May 21st:
Urban Survival Training: Basic Cooking & Smoothies
5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Join the Ohio County Public Library and local experts as we teach basic
skills you need to know! Ages 16 – 30ish.

Monday, May 21st:
Sensational Smoothies
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Join the Ohio County Public Library and the Ohio County Extension Office
to collect recipes and sample some sensational smoothies! Supplies will be provided! Ages 14 and up.

Tuesday, May 22nd:

5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Join the Ohio County Public Library and local experts as we teach basic
skills you need to know! Ages 16 – 30ish.

Open Computer Lab

Trivia Night
5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Challenge yourself during an evening of trivia. Movies, books, music, and
sitcoms will be some of the trivia topics. Come as an individual or team! Ages 14 and up.

Tech Stop with the Bookmobile
1:45 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Located at the Fordsville Fire Department

Saturday, June 2nd:
Bookmobile at Beaver Dam Farmer’s Market
9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Monday, June 4th:
“Wonder” movie – Rated PG
6:00 p.m.
WONDERing what you will do for the summer?? Watch the movie at your Public
Library and find out what endless possibilities await! All ages welcome!

Toddler Time
10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
Enjoy stories, crafts, games, and activities specifically designed for children ages 2 & 3
years old and caregivers.

Book Buddies
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
An opportunity for children ages 4 – 6 to be paired with a teenage “book buddy” to make
crafts, read stories, and play games.

Tuesday, June 5th:
Famished for Fiction
12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Looking for a place to rock out with your friends? Come to the library for crafts, books,
and activities sure to rock your summer! Grades 6th – 12th.

Tuesday, June 5th:

Rock & Mineral Exploration. Underground observations with stories, crafts, games and
scientific explorations. Rocks and minerals is the name and Geology is the game. Grades K – 6th. Registration is preferred.

Friday, June 8th:
Rock Painting for Adults
5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Visit the Ohio County Public Library and produce some magnificent masterpieces on
stone. Create garden markers, flower pot décor, mandalas, letters, team swag, or whatever you’re inspired to make. Ages 16 and up. Registration is suggested.

Saturday, June 9th:
Lego League / Science Saturday Family Event
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Legos and a love of science – that’s all you need to enjoy this family event. A self-
guided day filled with Legos and SOUND-themed science activities. Come for the day, the morning, or just an hour and enjoy family activities sure to delight! Ages 4 – 99!

Baby Romp & Rhyme
5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Visit the library for stories, games, crafts and activities specifically designed to engage
little learners ages 0 – 24 months and caregivers.

Camp Rock & Roll On – Grades K – 6th
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Explore the music of books. Songwriting, sound experiments, crafts, and activities
centered around the world of rock music. Scores of stories that note a love of libraries and music for mini maestros. Grades K – 6th. Registration is Preferred.
