mccown arrestOHIO COUNTY, Ky. (3/11/19) — A Cromwell man has been charged with selling marijuana and possessing methamphetamine.

Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said detectives received information that a home in the 100 block of Woosley Lane in the Crowell area was possibly selling marijuana. On March 8, detectives went to the home and when the owner, Donnie McCown, 47, answered the door, detectives reported smelling marijuana.

After receiving permission to go inside the residence and search, police discovered marijuana, methamphetamine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia, said OCSO.

McCown was charged with trafficking in marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth – first offense, first-degree possession of a controlled substance/Lortab – first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

McCown was transported to Ohio County Detention Center but is no longer listed on the inmate roster as of this publication.
