PRINCETON, Ky. (2/3/19) — Police are attributing the swift capture of an escaped inmate to a tip from the public.
Kentucky State Police began a search for Aaron A. Davis shortly after 6 a.m., and took Davis into custody in a field at 9:13 a.m. in a field off Old Fredonia Road in Caldwell County.
KSP charged Davis with second-degree escape.

LYON COUNTY, Ky. (2/3/19) — Kentucky State Police is searching for an escapee from the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex and is seeking the public's assistance in locating him.
KSP said 25-year-old Alexander Davis of Paris, Kentucky jumped off a food cart and took off walking at 6:10 a.m. today.
Davis is described as a white male, 6-foot tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing white long johns and a khaki toboggan.
KSP said Davis has a history of burglary, weapons charges and fleeing and evading police.
Anyone coming into contact with Davis should call police.
