vedacolmanBEAVER DAM, Ky. (2/12/2018) — Veda Allen Coleman, 96, of Beaver Dam died Sunday Feb. 11, at Signature Health Care in Hartford.

She was born in the Renfrow Community to the late Newt and Gracie Renfrow Allen. She was a homemaker, a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and she and her late husband Gene operated the Cross Road Grocery in Beaver Dam for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Coleman; a grandson, Robert Wade; a brother, Carmen Allen and 2 sisters, Eula Rock and Stella Likens.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Murray) McLaughlin of Beaver Dam; a sister, Joyce (Glenn) Southard of Beaver Dam and a granddaughter, Cathy Garner of Owensboro.

Services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Glenn Armstrong officiating. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com.
