wandabrownBEAVER DAM, Ky. (4/15/2018) — Like Jesus, “the firstborn from the dead” (ESV, Colossians 1:18), Wanda Brown has been resurrected from her “borrowed tomb” to live forevermore.

She was born December 8, 1937, in the now-extinct town of Martwick, Muhlenberg County, to Pascal Devar and Rachel (Duncan) Ezell.

A 1955 graduate of Drakesboro High School, she was a homemaker. Until poor health took its toll, she attended Rockport Christian Fellowship Church. She was a faithful and active member of the Ohio County Hospital Auxiliary for more than twenty-five years.

Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Jean Ingram in 2008.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-one years, Earl Ray Brown; her son, Kelly Earl Brown, both of Rockport, KY; her daughter, Lugenia Rae Brown (Mike) Sapp of Hartford; grandchildren, Aaron (Erica) Brown, Travis (Caitlin) Brown, Lee Sapp and Katie (Junior) Staggs; 3 great grandchildren; her sister, Anna Louise Milligan of Central City.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 15, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Recie Young officiating.
