drug investigation 03 300HENDERSON, Ky. (10/7/17) — A Webster County man and woman reported to have made a drug deal with an undercover officer in Sebree City Park Aug. 17 were charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.

Officers had already arrested the woman in relation to the investigation, and caught up with the wanted man in Henderson this week, PNTF reported.

Pennyrile Narcotics task force revealed Henderson County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Kentucky State Police and PNTF detectives received information that Billy R. Weaver II, 26, was in the area of Ellis Park Thursday evening.

Weaver had several warrants for his arrest that included the August trafficking charge, according to the report. Officers located 32-year-old Joy Beth Wilson at a residence in Henderson Aug. 22 in relation to the Sebree drug investigation. She was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth/less than 2 grams).

Weaver was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth/less than 2 grams), probation violation and two counts of failure to appear.

He was listed as being held today in Henderson County Jail on $12,200 cash bond.

PNTF indicated Weaver was listed as a person of interest in an automobile theft investigation being conducted by Henderson Police Department.
