map300 websterWEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (7/16/18) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans asphalt paving along two sections of U.S. 41 in Webster County starting today.

This work zone runs along U.S. 41 from the East Barkley Street intersection in Sebree at milepoint 9.245 extending northward to the Webster-Henderson County line at milepoint 12.226, KYTC Spokesman Keith Todd reported. This paving project will skip over the section of U.S. 41 in Sebree that was upgraded last year.

Rogers Group is the prime contractor on this $599,392 highway improvement project. The work is expected to take about two to three weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Todd asks drivers to be prepared for one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers, and use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers and construction personnel are along the road in close proximity to traffic flow.
