Kromer 2MADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/23/18) — State Rep. Melinda Gibbons Prunty, a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives 15th District, visited the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville recently to recognize the 2017 KSP Post 2 Trooper of the Year.

Trooper Cody Kromer of Providence was previously named 2017 Trooper of the Year for Post 2. Troopers representing posts from across the state were honored during a July ceremony held in Lexington.

Prunty presented Kromer with a Citation of Appreciation from the Kentucky House of Representatives.

Kromer is a six year veteran of the agency, and is currently assigned to Webster and Hopkins counties.

KSP Post 2 Spokesman Rob Austin noted Kromer is highly self-motivated, and for three years in a row, received the Impaired Driving Enforcement Award at Post 2.
