Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Spokesman Keith Todd indicated a crew is onsite investigating a rough section of the pavement this morning.

Todd believes there is a void or washout beneath the road that will require repair.

Webster County Highway Maintenance crews and KYTC engineers are evaluating the site to determine the extent of the soil erosion or void beneath the pavement and are devising a repair plan.

That section of Kentucky 132, about a half-mile east of the Kentucky 857 intersection, is closed until further notice, Todd reported.

A detour is set up via Kentucky 1340 and U.S. 41-A.
