KYTC 2017WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (6/24/19) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of Kentucky 283 in north-central Webster County Monday and Tuesday, July 8-9, state highway officials reported.

Kentucky 283 is scheduled to be closed near the 3-mile marker to allow a small bridge that crosses a tributary of Knoblick Creek to be replaced with two large metal culverts, KYTC Spokesman Keith Todd reported.

This is along Kentucky 283, between Kentucky 1191 and the Shady Grove Road/Knoblick Road intersection. Kentucky 283 is expected to close at approximately 6:30 a.m. July 8 and reopen to traffic around 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 9. There will no marked detour, and is scheduled on a weather permitting basis.
