WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (12/12/19) — Kentucky State Police Post 2 reports an inmate who escaped Webster County Jail last month was apprehended Saturday.
KSP Post 16 troopers located and arrested William D. Casto, 29 of Corydon, in Union County, according to KSP.

DIXON, Ky. (11/12/19) — Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville reported receiving a call 1:12 p.m. today that an inmate escaped restrictive custody at Webster County Jail.
KSP Trooper Rob Austin reported It was discovered the inmate jumped the fence 4:12 p.m. Monday.
The escapee is identified as William D. Casto, 29 of Corydon. He is described as a white male, with brown hair, blue eyes, approximately 5-foot-8 and 155 pounds. Casto was last seen wearing blue jeans with khaki pants underneath, and orange T-shirt with Webster County Jail Trustee on the back.
He was listed a low-level offender and held on a theft by unlawful taking charge.
