DCHSPantherlogoMADISONVILLE, Ky. (10/23/19) — Determined Daviess County managed to edge host Madisonville-North Hopkins 3-2 in the KHSAA Boys' Soccer State Tournament Semi-State 2 match on Tuesday.

With the win, Daviess County improved to 19-2-2 and advances in the tournament.

Madisonville-North Hopkins ended its season 20-4-2 with the loss.

Jacob Boling recorded a hat trick to lead Daviess County to the victory.

Along with Boling's three goals, Tanner Andersen and Hunter Clark contributed one assist apiece for the Panthers.

Defensively for Daviess County, goalkeeper Cody Clark recorded two saves while allowing two goals.

Offensively for Madisonville-North Hopkins, Dalton Daves and Luke McElroy provided one goal and one assist apiece.

Goalkeeper Alex Brooks paced the Maroons defensively, recording five saves while allowing three goals.
